Refund policy

Welcome to LoanChefs. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are issued for services booked through our online platform. By making a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below. 

1. Cancellation by the Customer 

  • Up to 48 Hours Before the Scheduled Service: Customers can cancel their booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. 

  • Between 48 and 24 Hours Before the Scheduled Service: If a cancellation is made between 48 and 24 hours before the scheduled service, a 50% refund will be issued. 

  • Less than 24 Hours Before the Scheduled Service: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service will not be eligible for a refund. 

2. Cancellation by the Chef 

  • If the chef cancels a booking at any time before the scheduled service, customers will receive a full refund. In addition, we will make every effort to connect the customer with an alternative chef, subject to availability. 

  • In cases where a suitable replacement is found, the customer can choose to accept the new chef or receive a full refund. 

3. No-Shows 

  • If the customer fails to attend the booked service without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued. 

  • If the chef does not show up for the scheduled service without prior notification, the customer is entitled to a full refund. 

4. Quality Issues and Service Complaints 

  • If a customer experiences issues with the quality of the service, they may file a complaint within 24 hours of the service completion. Please contact us at ( Support Form Link] with details of the issue. 

  • We will review the complaint and may, at our discretion, issue a partial or full refund based on the nature of the complaint and the outcome of our investigation. 

5. Processing Refunds 

  • All approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days of confirmation. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. 

  • Any transaction fees or payment processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount if applicable. 

6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers) 

  • Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, customers may have the right to withdraw from the service contract within 14 days of making a booking, provided that the service has not already been fulfilled or begun. To exercise this right, please notify us in writing via info@loanchefs.nl 

  • If the service has already commenced or is completed before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, this right no longer applies. 

7. Changes to the Refund Policy 

  • LoanChefs reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated date of the policy. We encourage users to review this policy periodically for any updates.
